“We always had the notion of trying bowls, just to see what it was like so we thought that we would give it a go. Iver Heath Bowls Club are such a welcoming and friendly group of people. we had a go....and loved it! We have been members for just over a month now. we have had some excellent free coaching from the club coach Ron. Everyone makes us feel so at home, come and join us, you will wish you had done it sooner.”

“I joined the club as a 15 year old, whilst also playing a number of other competitive sports, for something enjoyable to do with my grandparents and my brother. Two years later, I won the internal club triples competition with my brother and grandfather giving me one of my favourite memories not just from sport but life in general. Over my ten years with the club, I have played countless friendlies with a range of people of different genders, ages and backgrounds as well as competing for Iver Heath and Buckinghamshire for a number of trophies. While bowls is a sport often perceived as being for the elderly, it isn't until you start playing that you realise how it can be for anyone to enjoy.”
